How to fold an origami badger face
A kite fold that stops short of the centre leaves a white stripe between two dark flaps. Fold the top behind and the nose up, and the badger is done.
You need: 1 square sheet, 15 × 15 cm, dark grey on one side. Easy, 3 steps, about 3 minutes.
Steps
- Fold the sides in, leaving a gap. White side up. Fold the lower left and right edges in towards the middle, but stop 1 cm short so a white stripe shows between them.
- Top behind. Fold the white top corner behind, level with the tops of the flaps, so the head is flat on top.
- Fold up the nose. Fold the bottom tip up about 2 cm. It turns dark and makes the badger's nose at the end of the stripe.
A badger!
Draw two small eyes on the dark flaps, one each side of the stripe.
