How to fold an origami little coffin

Fold the top and bottom of a diamond behind, then slant the sides behind from the shoulders so the coffin narrows to its foot.

You need: 1 square sheet, brown or black on one side. Easy, 3 steps, about 3 minutes.

Steps

  1. Top behind. Put the square coloured side up like a diamond. Fold the top corner behind along a straight line across, close to the top.
  2. Bottom behind. Fold the bottom corner behind the same way, close to the bottom.
  3. Slant the sides. Fold the left and right corners behind on slanted lines, from high up near the top down to the bottom, so the coffin narrows to its foot.

Who's inside?

Draw a cross on the lid. Fold a little paper bat to sit on top and set it out for Halloween.
