How to fold an origami gorilla face
Three corners fold into the middle so only a pale diamond of face shows, then the top tucks under for a big flat brow and the head is rounded.
You need: 1 square sheet, 15 × 15 cm, black or dark grey on one side. Easy, 4 steps, about 4 minutes.
Steps
- Sides to the middle. White side up. Fold the left and right corners in to meet at the centre.
- Top down. Fold the top corner down so its tip points a little past the centre, like a frowning brow.
- Round the head. Fold the two top corners behind on a slant, so the head is a dome.
- Square the chin. Fold the bottom tip behind, so the jaw is wide and flat.
A gorilla!
Draw two eyes just under the brow, two big nostrils and a wide mouth.
