How to fold an origami owl
Fold the corners of a triangle down into a square, swing the flaps up into tall ear tufts, and fold the top point down for the beak.
You need: 1 square sheet, brown on one side. Easy, 5 steps, about 3 minutes.
Steps
- Make a triangle. Fold the top corner down to meet the bottom corner.
- Corners down. Fold the left and right corners down to meet the bottom point.
- Raise the ear tufts. Fold each flap up from its outer corner so the point stands straight up.
- Fold the beak. Fold the top point of the square down, with the tuft corners lying on it, so its tip meets the point where the tufts cross.
- Round the body. Fold the bottom point up behind.
Hoo-hoo!
Draw two big round eyes on either side of the beak.
