How to fold an origami picture frame
Fold the four edges in to make a sturdy frame band around a window, then fold the outer corners behind to bevel them. Slip a little drawing under the band.
You need: 1 square sheet, 15 × 15 cm. Easy, 3 steps, about 4 minutes.
Steps
- Top and bottom in. Fold the top edge down and the bottom edge up, each about a third of the way to the middle.
- Sides in. Fold the left and right edges in by the same amount. The white middle is now the window.
- Bevel the corners. Fold the four outer corners behind a little to give the frame neat bevelled corners.
Framed!
Draw a tiny picture in the window, or slide a small photo under the band. Make a few in different colours for a mini gallery.
