How to fold an origami push pin

Fold the sides and the top behind so a white point pokes out below a red head, slim the point into a needle and round the top of the head.

You need: 1 square sheet, coloured on one side (red). Easy, 5 steps, about 4 minutes.

Steps

  1. Sides behind. Red side up. Fold the left and right edges behind a short way, about a sixth of the way in.
  2. Top behind. Fold the top behind, a bit past the middle, so a white strip pokes out below the bottom edge.
  3. Slim the point. Fold the sides of the white point behind on a long slant, from the top corners down to a sharp tip.
  4. Narrow the head. Fold the left and right sides of the red head behind a little more.
  5. Round the head. Fold the two top corners of the head behind, so the top is round like a dome.

Pin it up!

Draw two rings round the head, a shine on top and shade half of the point so it looks like metal. Pin your notes to a board.
