How to fold an origami easy bat
A triangle with its side corners folded down makes a small diamond body. Swing the two flaps up and out as wings and turn it over.
You need: 1 square sheet, 15 × 15 cm, black on one side, and a white pen. Easy, 4 steps, about 3 minutes.
Steps
- Make a triangle. White side up, like a diamond. Fold the top corner down to the bottom corner.
- Corners down. Fold the left and right corners down to meet the bottom point. Now it is a small diamond with two flaps.
- Spread the wings. Fold each flap's bottom point up and out on a slant, from the flap's outer corner, so it sticks out wide as a wing.
- Turn it over. Flip it over. The top point between the wings is the head.
Flap flap!
Draw two small white eyes on the head.
