How to fold an origami little castle
Fold a strip in half along its length into a stiff wall, turn both ends straight up on slanted folds as towers, and fold their tops to points.
You need: 1 strip of paper, about 5 × 21 cm, pink or grey on one side. Easy, 3 steps, about 4 minutes.
Steps
- Fold in half. Lay the strip white side up, long side across. Fold the bottom edge up to the top edge: a long coloured wall.
- Towers up. Fold each end straight up on a slanted fold, a little way out from the middle. The ends stand up as two tall towers.
- Pointed roofs. Fold the two top corners of each tower behind on slants, from the middle of its top edge. Each tower gets a pointed roof.
Fit for a princess!
Draw an arched gate in the wall and little windows in the towers. Stand your toys in front of it.
