How to fold an origami little battery

Fold the sides of a diamond behind for a tall battery, then fold the top behind and back up so a small nub sticks up, and flatten both ends.

You need: 1 square sheet, orange or green on one side. Easy, 5 steps, about 4 minutes.

Steps

  1. Sides behind. Put the square coloured side up like a diamond. Fold the left and right corners behind along straight up-and-down lines, so the battery is tall and slim.
  2. Top behind. Fold the top corner behind along a straight line across, where the straight sides end.
  3. And back up. Behind, fold it back up a little lower, so a small tip sticks up in the middle as the nub.
  4. Flat nub. Fold the tip of the nub behind along a straight line across, so it is flat on top.
  5. Flat bottom. Fold the bottom corner behind along a straight line across, where the straight sides end.

Fully charged!

Draw a plus by the nub, a minus at the bottom, a line round the battery and a white lightning bolt. Power up a paper robot!
