How to fold an origami floaty ghost
Round the top of a tall lilac sheet into a head, crease and snip the bottom into three tabs, and fold each tab's corners behind so the hem floats in three points.
You need: 1 lilac or pale grey A4 or Letter sheet, scissors and a black pen. Medium, 8 steps, about 9 minutes.
Steps
- Crease the left tab. Lilac side up, fold the left third over to the right...
- Open it. ...and fold it back out flat, leaving a crease.
- Crease the right tab. Fold the right third over to the left...
- Open it. ...and fold it back out flat too.
- Snip the hem. Snip up both creases from the bottom edge, about 3.5 cm, so the bottom splits into three tabs.
- Point the tabs. Fold the two bottom corners of each tab behind on slants, so each tab ends in a point: a wavy hem.
- Round the head. Fold the two top corners behind, about 4.5 cm along each edge.
- Round it more. Fold the four new corners behind, a little each, so the head is a smooth dome.
