How to fold an origami igloo
A white snow strip folds up, the top folds behind, and four folds round off the corners into a dome. Draw the ice blocks and a little tunnel door.
You need: 1 square sheet, pale blue on one side. Easy, 4 steps, about 4 minutes.
Steps
- Fold up the snow. Fold a thin strip at the bottom edge up. The white strip is the snow the igloo sits on.
- Top behind. Fold the top edge behind, down to the top of the white snow strip.
- Round the top. Fold both top corners behind on a slant to start rounding the dome.
- Round it more. Fold the four new little corners behind too, so the top is a smooth dome.
Snug as a bug!
Draw rows of ice blocks and a tunnel door on the snow. Make a polar bear or a penguin to live inside.
