How to fold an origami snowy mountain range
Fold the top edge of a grey-blue sheet down as a band of snow, fold the corners behind for a big peak, then flip their tips back out as two smaller peaks.
You need: 1 A4 or Letter sheet (landscape), grey-blue on one side and white on the other. Easy, 4 steps, about 6 minutes.
Steps
- Snow band. Grey side up, long side across. Fold the top edge down about 2.5 cm, so a white band shows.
- Big peak. Fold the top corners behind on long slants from the middle of the top edge, so a big peak rises in the middle.
- Side peaks. Behind, fold each corner back out on a slant from the bottom of its fold, so its tip pokes up over the slope as a smaller peak.
- Bottom behind. Fold the bottom edge behind about 3 cm, so the range sits on a low, flat base.
Snowy peaks!
Stick it on a card and draw a little winding path up the big peak.
