How to fold an origami little window
Fold red bands for the curtain rail and the sill, fold the sides in as curtains, then fold their inner corners out so they look tied back.
You need: 1 square of red paper, 15 cm. Easy, 4 steps, about 5 minutes.
Steps
- Curtain rail. White side up, fold the top edge down about 2 cm. The red band is the curtain rail.
- Window sill. Fold the bottom edge up about 1.5 cm: the window sill.
- Close the curtains. Fold the left and right edges in, about 3.5 cm each, so they nearly meet in the middle. Two red curtains.
- Tie them back. Fold each curtain's inner bottom corner out on a long slant, from near the top to the sill. The curtains open and the window shows.
Open the curtains!
Draw a cross of glazing bars on the white glass. Tape it to a wall for a window with a view.
