How to fold an origami paper boat
A quick take on the classic paper boat: a triangle with both ends flipped up into a bow and a stern. Three folds and it floats for a while.
You need: 1 square sheet, 15 × 15 cm or larger. Easy, 3 steps, about 2 minutes.
Steps
- Make a triangle. Fold the bottom corner up to meet the top corner.
- Fold up the bow. Fold the left corner up and out on a shallow slant, starting the crease a little left of the middle, so its tip rises above the hull.
- Fold up the stern. Do the same with the right corner, so both ends rise like the ends of a boat.
Anchors aweigh!
Set it on a puddle or a bath and blow gently on the peak to sail it.
