How to fold an origami easy princess dress
Fold the sides behind into a flared gown, swing the hidden flaps out as puffed sleeves and pleat in a waist. One sheet, no glue.
You need: 1 square sheet, pink or lilac on one side and white on the other. Easy, 5 steps, about 5 minutes.
Steps
- Frilly hem. Coloured side up, fold the bottom edge up a little. The white strip is the frill.
- Flare the gown. Fold the two top corners behind on slants from near the middle of the top edge down to the sides.
- Puffed sleeves. Behind, fold the top of each hidden flap back out on a slant, so it pokes out at the shoulder as a sleeve.
- Top behind. Fold the whole top behind along a line just above the middle.
- Pinch the waist. Behind, fold it back up a little lower so the top pops up again. The step is her waist.
Ready for the ball!
