How to fold an origami raccoon face
A grey triangle with its side corners folded behind into perky ears and the front point folded up into a white diamond snout. Draw the black bandit mask.
You need: 1 square sheet, 15 × 15 cm, grey on one side, and a black marker. Easy, 4 steps, about 4 minutes.
Steps
- Make a triangle. Fold the top corner down to meet the bottom corner.
- Ears behind. Fold the left and right corners behind, on steep lines 3 cm in from each end, so the tips poke up above the top edge.
- Round the ears. Fold the very tip of each ear behind, straight across, so the ears are blunt.
- White snout. Fold only the front layer's bottom point up, about 3 cm above the bottom. The white point below and the white flap make a diamond snout.
Caught you, raccoon!
Colour a wide black mask over the eyes, leaving white spots for the eyes and above them. Draw a black nose at the tip.
