How to fold an origami kangaroo face
A tan triangle whose side corners fold down low and swing back up into tall ears with blunt tips. The long pointed chin is the muzzle.
You need: 1 square sheet, 15 × 15 cm, tan on one side, and a black marker. Easy, 4 steps, about 4 minutes.
Steps
- Make a triangle. Turn the square like a diamond, white side up. Fold the top corner down to meet the bottom corner.
- Corners down. Fold the left and right corners down so their points meet on the middle line, about 1 cm above the bottom point.
- Ears up. Fold each flap back up from its outer corner, so it stands straight up as a tall ear.
- Blunt the ears. Fold the tip of each ear behind, straight across, about 1 cm down, so the ears are blunt.
G'day, roo!
Draw a line inside each ear, two eyes, a wide black nose near the chin's tip and a little line under it.
