How to fold an origami clownfish
A triangle with its corners folded up makes a chubby body. Blunt the nose, back and belly, flick the tips out into a tail, then draw on the white stripes.
You need: 1 square sheet (15 cm), orange on one side, a white gel pen or white paper strips and a black pen. Easy, 5 steps, about 5 minutes.
Steps
- Make a triangle. Fold the bottom corner up to the top corner.
- Corners up. Fold the left and right corners up to the top point. Now it's a square.
- Round the body. Fold the left and right corners behind, 1.7 cm in, and the bottom corner behind 1 cm. That's the back, belly and nose.
- Flick the tail. Fold the top tip of each flap out to the side, so the two tips fan apart into a tail.
- Swim sideways. Turn it so the nose points left and the tail points right.
