How to fold an origami easy graduation cap

Two slanted folds flatten a diamond into the wide square board. A pleat tucks the bottom corner up behind it as the cap.

You need: 1 square sheet, black or dark blue on one side. Easy, 5 steps, about 4 minutes.

Steps

Left slant behind. Put the square coloured side up like a diamond. Fold the top behind on a slant from the left corner to just above the middle.
Right slant behind. Do the same from the right corner, so the top becomes a wide, flat point.
Bottom behind. Fold the bottom half up behind, along a line a little below the side corners.
Cap down. Behind, fold it back down a little higher so its point hangs below the board. That's the cap.
Flat cap. Fold the tip of the cap behind so it has a flat bottom.

Add a white button in the middle and a short tassel cord. Toss it in the air!
