How to fold an origami hoodie

Fold the top into a narrow roof and pleat it so the hood pops up over the shoulders. The sides fold behind and back out as two long sleeves.

You need: 1 square sheet, any colour on one side. Easy, 5 steps, about 5 minutes.

Steps

  1. Make a roof. Start coloured side up. Fold the two top corners behind on long slants, so the top is a narrow roof.
  2. Top behind. Fold the whole roof behind along a line a little below where it starts.
  3. Hood up. Behind, fold it back up a little lower, so the narrow top pops up over the shoulders. That's the hood.
  4. Sides behind. Fold the left and right sides behind, about a quarter of the width each.
  5. Fold out the sleeves. Reach behind and fold each side flap back out, from the top of its fold to a little in from the bottom corner.

Hood up!

Draw a big front pocket and two drawstrings. Make one in every colour for a paper doll's wardrobe.
