How to fold an origami house with chimney
Fold the sides behind, tuck the top corners in for a pointed roof, then free the bottom of one side strip with a short snip and fold it up behind so it peeks over the roof as a chimney.
You need: 1 red square (15 cm), small scissors and a black pen. Medium, 4 steps, about 8 minutes.
Steps
- Sides behind. Coloured side up, fold the left and right edges behind, about 2 cm each.
- Roof. Fold the two top corners behind on slanted creases that meet at the middle of the top edge, making a pointed roof.
- Free the chimney. Snip along the right side fold from the bottom edge up to the middle, so the bottom half of the strip behind comes loose.
- Chimney up. Fold the loose strip up behind the house, on a crease across the middle, so its end pokes up above the roof.
