How to fold an origami mountain
Fold a grey-blue square into a big peak and fold its tip down so white snow shows at the top. Make a smaller peak the same way and glue it behind.
You need: A 15 cm square and a 9 cm square, grey-blue on one side, and a glue stick. Easy, 6 steps, about 5 minutes.
Steps
- Big peak: fold in half. Start with the big square, white side up, turned like a diamond. Fold the bottom corner up to the top corner.
- Big peak: snow cap. Fold just the tip of the front layer down, 2 cm from the top. Now white snow shows on the peak.
- Small peak: new sheet. Set the big peak aside. Take the small square, white side up, turned like a diamond.
- Small peak: fold in half. Fold the bottom corner up to the top corner.
- Small peak: snow cap. Fold the tip of the front layer down, 1.3 cm from the top, for its own snow cap.
- Glue them together. Glue the small peak behind the big one, off to the right, with the bottom edges in a line.
Snowy mountains!
Stick it on a card and draw a little path winding up to the snow.
