How to fold an origami orange juice
A pale blue sheet folds into a tall glass and a smaller orange one into the juice inside it. A red strip bends into a straw, and a little orange circle sits on the rim.
You need: 1 orange and 1 pale blue rectangle (the blue one bigger), a thin red strip, a small orange square and glue. Medium, 10 steps, about 12 minutes.
Steps
- Juice: slant the sides. Start with the orange rectangle, orange side up. Fold both long sides behind at a slight slant, so it gets narrower toward the bottom.
- Glass. Set the juice aside. Take the pale blue rectangle.
- Glass: slant the sides. Fold both long sides behind at the same slant as the juice.
- Orange slice. Set the glass aside. Take the small orange square, orange side up.
- Slice: corners behind. Fold the four corners behind, so you get an eight-sided shape.
- Slice: round it. Fold the eight new corners behind, just a little, so the slice is round.
- Straw. Set the slice aside. Take the thin red strip, red side up.
- Straw: in half. Fold the left half behind along the length, so the strip is red on both sides.
- Straw: bend it. Fold the top part over to the right at a slant, so the straw bends near the top.
- Pour a glass. Glue the straw on the glass, then the juice over the straw's bottom end, low in the glass. Glue the orange slice on the top corner of the rim.
Cheers!
Draw white lines on the slice for the juicy segments, and a white shine on the glass.
