How to fold an origami pansy
Round a purple square into the two big top petals and a yellow square into the bottom petals, glue them together and ink the dark middle.
You need: A 15 cm purple square, a 10 cm yellow square, glue and a black pen. Medium, 7 steps, about 8 minutes.
Steps
- Top petals: fold the bottom. Purple side up, fold the bottom edge behind, about a quarter of the way up.
- Top petals: round it. Fold all four corners behind a good way, so it is a wide rounded shape.
- Top petals: round more. Fold the four new corners along the top and bottom behind, just a tiny bit each.
- Bottom petals: new sheet. Set it aside. Take the yellow square, yellow side up.
- Bottom petals: round it. Fold all four corners behind a good way, so it is round too.
- Bottom petals: round more. Fold the eight new little corners behind a tiny bit too.
- Glue it together. Glue the purple petals behind the top half of the yellow ones, so purple peeks out above and at the sides.
Pansy face!
Colour a dark middle with lines spreading out like whiskers, and a tiny white dot in the very centre.
