How to fold an origami peach
Fold the four points of a peach-coloured diamond behind and round the corners, keeping a soft point at the bottom. Draw the crease and add a leaf.
You need: 1 peach or light orange square, 1 small green square, a glue stick and a pen. Easy, 7 steps, about 6 minutes.
Steps
- Peach: top and bottom. Start coloured side up, like a diamond. Fold the top point behind a lot, and the bottom point behind just a little.
- Peach: the sides. Fold the left and right points behind, the same amount on each side.
- Peach: round it. Fold the corners at the top and sides behind a little to make it round. Leave the soft point at the bottom.
- Leaf: new sheet. Set the peach aside. Take the small green square, white side up, with a corner pointing up and to the right.
- Leaf: make a kite. Fold the two edges beside the top right corner in so they meet along the middle, like a kite.
- Leaf: make it narrow. Fold the two short edges at the other end in to meet along the middle too.
- Put it together. Glue the peach on the leaf's narrow end, so the leaf sticks up to the right from the top.
Peachy!
Draw the curved crease from the top down one side, and a white shine on the other side.
