How to fold an origami polar bear face
Fold a white triangle, bring its point down below the bottom edge as a long snout and swing the corners up as little round ears. A big black nose makes it a polar bear.
You need: 1 square sheet, white (or white on one side), and a black pen. Easy, 6 steps, about 4 minutes.
Steps
- Make a triangle. Fold the bottom corner up to meet the top corner.
- Snout down. Fold the top point down so it hangs about 4 cm below the bottom edge. That is the long snout.
- Ears up. Fold both bottom corners up, on a line running on from the snout's edge up to the top corner, so their tips stand up above the top edge.
- Round the ears. Fold the tip of each ear down a little on a slant, so the ears turn small and round.
- Turn it over. Flip the bear so the smooth side faces you.
- Blunt the snout. Fold the tip of the snout behind, about 1 cm, so it ends flat.
Brrr, hello!
Draw a big black nose at the end of the snout, two little eyes on the face, and a small smile under the nose.
