How to fold an origami puppy face

A tucked corner gives a white muzzle, then one ear swings up and the other flops down for a cheeky puppy look.

You need: 1 square sheet, 15 × 15 cm, tan on one side. Easy, 5 steps, about 3 minutes.

Steps

  1. Fold the top corner down. White side up. Fold the top corner down about 3 cm.
  2. Fold in half. Fold the top half down onto the bottom half. The white corner behind peeks out as the muzzle.
  3. One ear up. Fold the left corner up on a steep line so it stands up as a pointed ear.
  4. One ear down. Fold the right corner down on a slant so it hangs beside the face like a floppy ear.
  5. Blunt the nose. Fold the tip of the white muzzle up behind, so the nose is short and flat.

Woof!

Draw two eyes, a big dark nose at the top of the muzzle and a little smile.
