How to fold an origami two-sail boat
Fold a diamond into a triangle, swing the front corner up as a second sail, then fold the bottom strip up into a boat-shaped hull.
You need: 1 square (15 cm), blue or red on one side. Easy, 3 steps, about 6 minutes.
Steps
- Triangle. White side up, turned like a diamond, fold the bottom corner up to the top corner.
- Jib. Fold the left corner up, both layers together, on a slanted crease so it pokes up left of the top point: the jib.
- Hull. Fold the bottom strip up, all layers together, about 2 cm deep. It makes a wide hull that slants in at the ends.
