How to fold an origami little chair

Fold a long strip into a thin bar. Turn one end down for the front leg, the other up for the backrest, fold it back down at the top and turn it again for the back leg.

You need: 1 brown strip, 20 x 3 cm. Medium, 6 steps, about 10 minutes.

Steps

  1. Fold in half. White side up, fold the strip in half along its length, bottom edge up onto the top edge.
  2. In half again. Fold it in half along its length again: a thin brown bar.
  3. Front leg. About 4 cm from the right end, fold the end straight down with a 45-degree fold.
  4. Backrest. 4 cm left of the front leg, fold the long left part up, leaning back just a little: the backrest.
  5. Fold it back down. About 4 cm up, fold the rest of the strip back down along the backrest.
  6. Back leg. At the seat, turn the end down to the floor, leaning back a little, so the back leg is as long as the front one.

Take a seat!
