How to fold an origami sloth face
A brown square with its corners folded behind makes the furry head, and a pale piece glued on top makes the face. Draw the dark stripes and a sleepy smile.
You need: 1 brown square, 15 × 15 cm, 1 cream square, 11 × 11 cm, glue and a black marker. Medium, 5 steps, about 6 minutes.
Steps
- Round the head. Brown side up, fold all four corners behind, about 5 cm in along each edge, so the head is round.
- Face: new sheet. Set the head aside. Take the cream square, cream side up.
- Make it wide. Fold the top and bottom edges behind, about 1.5 cm each, so the piece is wider than it is tall.
- Round the face. Fold the four corners behind, about 2 cm in along each edge.
- Glue the face on. Glue the pale face onto the middle of the brown head, a little below the centre.
Slooow down, sloth!
Draw a dark stripe slanting down from each eye, little eyes inside, a round nose and a big sleepy smile.
