How to fold an origami little speedboat

Fold a long sheet in half and slope the top corners into a wedge. A pleat pops up the windscreen, and one more fold points the bow.

You need: 1 sheet twice as long as it is tall (half a square), red on one side, and a white pen. Easy, 5 steps, about 4 minutes.

Steps

Fold in half. Lay the long sheet red side up. Fold the top half behind, so the folded edge is along the top.
Make a wedge. Fold the top corners behind: a short slant at the left end, and a long one from just left of the middle down to halfway down the right end.
Windscreen. Fold the top behind along a level line about a third of the way down.
Step it up. Behind, fold it back up a little lower, so a short windscreen peeks out on top.
Point the bow. Fold the bottom right corner behind on a slant from the tip, so the bow comes to a sharp point.

Colour the windscreen white and draw a white racing stripe along the hull.
