How to fold an origami little submarine

A diamond flattened top and bottom makes the long hull. A pleat lifts the top corner into the tower, and the ends fold in to blunt them.

You need: 1 square sheet, yellow on one side. Easy, 5 steps, about 4 minutes.

Steps

  1. Flat bottom. Put the square coloured side up like a diamond. Fold the bottom corner behind, about a third of the way up.
  2. Top behind. Fold the top corner behind along a line just above the middle.
  3. Pop up the tower. Behind, fold that corner back up along the middle so its tip peeks out over the top. That's the tower.
  4. Flat-top the tower. Fold the tip of the tower behind so it has a flat top.
  5. Blunt the ends. Fold the left and right points behind a little, so the hull has round-ish ends.
